About Us
Cal-Tech was founded in 1980 by Calvin and Linda Creamer in Lake City, Florida.
Our team is made up of geotechnical engineers, scientists, certified asphalt plant technicians, building and roadway inspectors. Our facilities are equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art equipment for: Superpave asphalt mix designs, large instrumented moisture rooms (for curing concrete specimens), automatic compactors, hydraulic presses, concrete and soil load machines, soil, concrete, and asphalt analysis equipment, and other specialized testing.
Cal-Tech is a DBE/MBE Firm in Florida and Georgia. Our laboratories are CMEC Certified and approved by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). We also perform work for GDOT, FAA, Army Corps of Engineers, DOD, and Federal, Local, and State Agencies. Our team is made up of Civil and Geotechnical Engineers, certified field and laboratory technicians, certified asphalt plant and roadway inspectors (FDOT), project managers, project engineers, office engineers and administrative staff.
